Mr. William Henry "Bill" Bagwell Jauary 10, 2009 Services will be held at 11 a.m., Jan. 14, 2009 at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. William Henry "Bill" Bagwell, 95, who died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. Mr. Bagwell was a retired carpenter and plumber. He was a Veteran having served in the Seabees in the Aleutian Islands during World War II. He was a member of Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ackerman where he served as an Elder. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Bagwell is survived by his wife Hazel McArthur Bagwell of Ackerman, a son Dr. Billy McArthur Bagwell of Hattiesburg, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. James Henry Miles January 4, 2010 Funeral services for Mr. James Henry Miles, 78, were held at 2 p.m., January 6, 2010 at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman. Rev. Lanny Collum officiated. Burial followed in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery near Ackerman. A resident of Ackerman, Mr. Miles was a brick mason and a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Miles died Monday, January 4, 2010 at his residence near Ackerman. Survivors include sons Jim Miles of Yazoo City, Smokey Miles of Ackerman, Tony Miles of Pontotoc, daughter Gail Lindsey of Nashville, brother Everette Miles of Louisville, sister Rena Woods of Eupora and three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Marsha Elizabeth Dempsey James January 5,2009 Mrs. Marsha Elizabeth Dempsey James, 58, died Tuesday, January 5, at her home in Louisville. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Campground United Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Visitation will be from 9a.m. to 10 AM at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. James was born April 22, 1951, in Louisville, MS. She was a registered nurse. She is survived by a sister, Renee A. Edwards of Louisville; three brothers, J.
