Choctaw County's Junior Miss "Trunk Show" to be held

Jessi McHan, Choctaw County's Junior Miss, will be traveling to Meridian July 27th to compete in the state program for the title of Mississippi's Junior Miss.

Jessi is the daughter of Doug and Marie McHan of Ackerman. She will be a senior at Ackerman High School where she is involved in numerous activities from academic to musical to extra-curricular.

Preliminaries for the state program will be Thursday, July 31st and Friday, August 1st, Jessi will compete in Physical Fitness and Poise on Thursday evening, and she will perofrm her piano solo on Friday evening. Finals for the top ten selected in the program will be held Saturday, August 2nd. It is at the conclusion of this evening's competition that Mississippi's Junior Miss will be announced. There will be a "Trunk Show" for Miss McHan at the Choctaw County Library on, Thursday, July 24th at 7:00. Jessi will perform her talent piece and model her attire that she will be taking to Meridian.
