On Thursday, May 6, The Broken Wings Ministries, Inc. of Ackerman presented a Celebration of Accomplishments for the Spring 2004 class of Christian Women's Job Corps.
The Class of 2004 of Broken Wings receiving their certificates of completion for the classes they attended this spring are: ( l -r) Brenda Pratt, Mary Robinson, Lisa Harrington, Betty Morris, Tammie Cox, Bessie Hicks, Ka'Lalaq Hardin. Bessie Hicks was also presented a certificate for Outstanding Computer Class Student. These ladies are to be commended for the dedication they have shown to further their education and enhance their lifestyle. All the women plan to go to college and get degrees in a field.
Kay Blake began the program by welcoming everyone and presenting Bro. Roger Griffith to lead in prayer.
Cissy Landrum, Michele Miller and Kay Blake presented the certificates.
The presenters and Bro. Griffith are instrumental in making the Broken Wings Ministries a success in the County. There is also a lot of community volunteers that donate their time to the ministry.
