Don F. Threadgill, 56, Chancery Clerk of

Choctaw County, died Monday, September 14,

2009, at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Funeral

services were 11:00 am Friday, September 18,

2009, at the Ackerman Church of Christ in

Ackerman with burial in the Enon Cemetery.

Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman is in charge

of the arrangements.

Mr. Threadgill has held the post of Chancery

Clerk of Choctaw County for the past 14 years. He

was a board member of Magnolia Bible College

and he attended Ackerman Church of Christ,

where he held the position of Church Elder. He

successfully owned and operated Don's Auto Parts

in Ackerman for 16 years prior to his elected

position of Chancery Clerk.

He is preceded in death by his father, James

Threadgill, Sr., and his brother, Daniel Threadgill.

Survivors include: wife, Jeannie (Reeves)

Threadgill, Ackerman; mother, Shirley Threadgill,

Ackerman; sons, Chris Threadgill and wife, Amy of

Ackerman, and Jeremy Threadgill and wife, Ginger

of Ackerman,; brother, James Threadgill, Jr.,

Mathiston,; and five grandchildren, Lauren,

Adam, Brian, Tanner, and Reeves.

Pallbearers for the service were Coyt Hunt,

Alan Pyron, Regan Ford, Kenny King, Pete Odom,

Joe Griffin, John Sinclair, and Buddy Cornish.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Choctaw County

Board of Supervisors.

Memorials may be sent to Ackerman Church

of Christ Building Fund.
