Mrs. Shirley Robertson Thrasher

Mrs. Shirley Robertson Thrasher, 73, died Monday, Dec. 15, at her home in Starkville. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Friday, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Joe Butler and Rev. Diane Griffin officiating. Interment was in Whitehall Cemetery.

Mrs. Thrasher was born January 25, 1936, in Louisville, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Bradley Church of God. She is survived by her husband, James O. Thrasher of Starkville; three daughters, Mary Crowley of Ackerman, Kathy Wentworth of Davenport, Iowa, and Barbara Reitz of Pryor, OK; a son, Boyd Thrasher of Starkville; a brother, Gene Robertson of Louisville; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
