Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine (Wayne) Colter Henley, 56, were held December 26, 2009 at Union Chapel M.B. Church. Rev. Benjamin Pittman officiated. Burial followed at Union Chapel M.B. church cemetery.

Mrs. Henley was a member of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church and was a member of the Eastern Stars. She worked for a cleaning service.

Survivors include: father, Arvin Colter of Louisville, MS; son, Howard Colter of Louisville; sisters, Nellie Carter, and Alice Colter both of Louisville; brother, Lawrence Colter of Louisville; four grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Williams, Herring & Hampton was in charge of arrangements.
